How long is total set up time of the Orbit trampoline?
It takes approx. one hour to set up the AVIVA Water Trampoline. This time can be reduced by using several people and by experience. This time can be reduced if the tramp surface is left assembled and only the tube needs to be inflated and tramp attached.
How long does it take to inflate/deflate the Orbit trampoline?
With a blower it takes approximately 15 min to inflate the Water Trampoline. The time depends on the size of the trampoline and strength of the blower.
What is the Orbit tube material made of?
The tube material is the same high-grade material that is used in inflatable boats. It is 1000 detex, UV treated, PVC.
Can the Orbit be used in salt water?
Yes, due to the fact the material is UV treated and the same as used in ocean going inflatables, as well as the fact that the springs, V-rings are chrome plated. The trampoline frame is heavy duty dipped galvanized steel.
Can the Orbit be left out in the water?
There are three factors to be considered. The first is local regulations regarding anchoring. The second is the amount of vandalism and theft in the area where it is kept. And the third and final one is if it is in an area that is prone to high seas or high winds. CAUTION: The AVIVA Water Trampoline should not be left out if wind are exceeding 40 km/h.
How is the Orbit anchored?
In the center of the tube is an anchoring harness with a O-ring. It can be anchored with a simple boat anchor that is attached to the D-ring. In the event that an anchor is not available, any heavy weight can be used. The anchoring depends on whether the floor is sand, mud, rock, etc. You should ask the local marina which is the best method.
What permits are needed for the Orbit?
If the AVIVA Water Trampoline is anchored out, it will probably be treated as a swim raft by the local authorities. Please check with your local authorities for regulations regarding swim platforms.
Is the AVIVA Water Trampoline patchabel and repairable?
Yes, it is patchable, and a repair kit is included with each product. This kit includes glue and extra pieces of fabric. In addition the owner´s manual that accompanies each product has a repair and maintenance outline. The most common parts that need to be replaced after one season are the springs and the trampoline pad surface which can be purchased at low cost.
What is the warranty on the AVIVA products?
All AVIVA Sports products have a two year warranty on all seams and valves.
How is the AVIVA Water Trampoline maintained and stored?
The AVIVA Water Trampoline tube is cleaned with a mild soap and must be dried completely before storing. We recommend that the tube be treated with a PVC protectant Please note most of the above is the same for the other Aviva Sports products. Maintenace tips
Although maintenance is very easy it is essential to increase the life of your inflatable. Please carry out all maintenance and repairs as according to this manual. If you are unsure please contact your local dealer, service center or manufacturer directly.
How to clean the AVIVA products?
If your inflatable is used intensively as in commercial locations then it should be cleaned on a weekly basis. It is also obligatory that it is cleaned before being packed away for the winter. When cleaning your inflatable never use strong detergents or Silicone-Based products. Also never use high pressure cleaning equipment such as a "pressure washer". This will result to damage of your inflatable. You should clean your inflatable with soap and fresh water. You should check that the valves are clean and not damaged. To remove algae and other hazards from the ocean you can use a special cleaning agent from your local marina. The hardware (springs, frame, etc.) should be rinsed with fresh water weekly. Although normal wear and tear is unavoidable this will increase the life of your hardware.
